Referrals

Please be advised that we have a waiting list for our trauma informed practitioners and longer term therapy work, which means clients won't receive a service straight away, however anyone who is referred will be assessed at some point. However, we are able to provide signposting information and advice over the phone and by email straight away to clients.

We are also able to provide advice without delay to professionals. You can access this support by contacting us on 01228 515859, and leaving a brief message including your name and contact details, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Eligibility

Please see our flow chart below to assess your clients suitability for a referral to our service. There are links at the bottom for a referral form, should your client meet our eligibility criteria. If you want to clarify anything please get in contact with the office via office@safetynetuk.org or by phoning 01228 515859 in office hours.

If you have previously referred your client into Safety Net but they weren’t eligible for our service or support has ended due to non-engagement we ask that you wait 3 months before referring them back in. This gives them space and as we are a recovery service, we have found that after three months people are usually ready to get the most out of recovery support. We understand this may be frustrating, but their health and wellbeing is very important to us.
