Head of Clinical Practice – 0.8 FTE (4 days)

This is a new post, formed at an exciting time of targeted growth for the organisation to meet an increasing demand for services, and the successful applicant will lead on clinical practice across our therapy, counselling and support services. The Head of Clinical Practice is one of three key senior roles in Safety Net who oversee all operations and business activities to ensure the organisation produces the desired results and is working to agreed contracts and funding requirements, within agreed mission, values, aims and objectives. The post holder will lead on practice development, staff development and
clinical supervision, and will attend board meetings and take part in management meetings.
We are looking for someone who has a therapeutic qualification to at least post-graduate diploma, with at least five years therapeutic experience, and educated to degree standard in a relevant discipline, e.g. mental health, other health, social care.
We are looking for an experienced manager/leader who can demonstrate management and leadership skills.

Reporting to: board of trustees.
Hours: 28 per week.
Salary: starting salary of £33,660 - £43,637, pro rata, dependent on qualifications and experience; 4% employer contribution pension.
Base: Carlisle (covering north & west Cumbria), currently working from home but when the Carlisle office is
re-opened there will be a requirement to work from there two days per week.
