Social events to look forward to with Safety Net

STORY SN XMAS PARTY.png

Here at Safety Net we’re beginning to imagine what life will be like once things start opening up again (here’s hoping they do!).

So we’re very excited to tell you about our Christmas Party event - which will also be a fundraiser for our charity.

It’s a Christmas Murder Mystery Night on the 19th Nov 2021 at The Solway Hall in Whitehaven. Tickets are now on sale and they cost £25 per person. All money raised will go towards the running of our services in Cumbria.

The night will involve:

  • A murder mystery theatre production produced by Highly Suspect.

  • Hot and cold buffet.

  • Raffle and silent auction.

  • Christmas grotto and special guest appearance from Father Christmas (who assures us he’s had his Covid vaccine).

  • A live 4 piece band to get everyone up and dancing at the end of the evening.

We are really happy to be supporting The Solway Hall in Whitehaven where the event will be held, as it’s been closed for 12 months due to Covid-19. The venue is managed by volunteers and is a registered charity.

The murder mystery production: Happily Never After

One upon a time Cinderella wished to go to the royal ball. Her magical fairy Godmother cast a spell and soon Cinderella met her handsome prince and lived happily ever after... At least that’s how everyone thinks the story goes. In fact, the enchanted land of Pantomime is a far darker realm than anyone would believe. When the Fairy Godmother is found with her throat cut - apparently slashed with a glass slipper - it seems a fairytale killer might well be on the loose and anyone in Pantoland could be a suspect!

We’d love you to come, so book your tickets today by emailing julieanne@safetynetuk.org. Thanks and see you there!
